G, yes, the bloggers are “spoiled” here when it comes to events. Almost every month there is a party sponsored by big companies endorsing food and beauty products. The bloggers are beginning to be called “new media” which means they get paid to attend and write about these events, whether positive or negative.

wonderful shots, T. Julie! i love taking shots of food (hehe, obvious ‘ata) … and yes, the light is important, as well as the food presentation. i would like to add that the angle/perspective is important, too (like in your second shot).

taking pictures is sort of like trial and error for me, too … that’s why am glad digital cameras were invented (easy erasures). lol.
