Running and Walking

Lately my hubby has started to rekindling his love for running (and walking) and of course, we naturally join him so that we could get our own dose of physical exercise. I can do this since I can’t do biking.

In fact, it was just the other day when the younger kids got new pairs of running shoes for this new found “love”.

Last Sunday night we had a go at it and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the exercise. When they got tired, we rolled out the mat and they had fun lying on it watching the almost full moon shine brightly along with numerous stars in the night sky.

I hope that if I take this seriously I would be able to lose these unwanted pounds and stay fit (am crossing my fingers on this).

I am glad that it is summer so we get to enjoy this activity. When the rainy season comes, I hope we can save some and get a treadmill so we can still enjoy the multiple benefits of walking even if there is a storm raging outside 🙂
