First because the shoe sizes were a tad too big. Second, the bags, I can’t choose which one I like best among 4 choices. Third, the kids were complaining they want to have dinner already. But I didn’t complain when they were choosing their books at the bookstore, lol.

If not for the three factors, the barcode labels of at least a pair (or maybe even two) and a bag would have been scanned for me.

I’m going back tomorrow. *crossing my fingers* I hope I can still get one of those bags I’m eyeing.

I wonder if these accidents record make it hard for these drivers to get a 5th wheel insurance.

A stalled vehicle on the road means a lot of people in vehicles following will get in trouble for getting in late.

I can’t accept that traffic is already a way of life in the urban centers in this country.

I miss “our” big road where only a handful of us are on the road at any given time. Now we have ginormous trucks weaving in and out of the lanes and most of these are just passing through from the expressway.

Let’s see what the Hash Brown Burger is made of:

Two baked hash browns with a beef patty, cheese and ketchup in between. I took a wee bite and it felt heavy. Must be very filling, this one.

I’m sure all those with big appetite will like this one so much so they will order these burgers plus these desserts as special delivery for grandpa’s birthday

I’m sure the wind spinners are up there are going round and round wildly, if they are still standing up.

This same weather disturbance gave us a hard time when I went with my youngest child on her field trip to Pampnga last Wednesday. We had to endure the alternating rain shower and sun shine which gave me a headache. Gah! Good thing she has an almost water-proof jacket to wear because I, the super mom, forgot to bring an umbrella.

Anyway, I took a few flower photos when we visited and this is one of the photos that I like albeit the flowers are orange!

I love flower photos like this one. FYI, am not particularly fond of orange and I like this not because I was the one who took the photo. I know that anyone with a camera can take this kind of photo, right?

The winds are so strong outside we didn’t let the dog out of her cage just in case debris will get flown in and she gets hit. I am worried about the two weather disturbances in the country: Mina (NANMADOL) and I-forgot-if-the-other-one has a name.

While we are being battered (by we I mean those in the extreme North of the country) the East Coast of the USA is also being all stormed by Irene, another girl name for another extreme weather condition.

As of this writing, news reports 6 people who have perished due to the typhoon. The Northern part of the country is where typhoons usually pass by. These people are very resilient and strong. They not only have to deal with extreme hot weather conditions during summer while they depend on water pumps to water their farms and get frustrated when their crops die because of extreme heat, they also deal with floods and torrential rains that destroy their crops during the monsoon season.

I will offer a prayer of protection for these kababayans of mine. I hope they will survive what these weather conditions bring to their places.
