~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Text messages ng isang isang lalaki sa kanyang asawa:
10:30pm Pauwi na ako nasa MRT Buendia train na. Busina na lang ako pagdating.
11:34pm Nasa MRT Quezon Ave pa lang kami. Nakasakay sa MRT Buendia mga 10:30pm mag-1 hour na kami sa loob ng train, puro hinto tapos ang tagal kung huminto.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

JEM, 18, taga QC, estudyante. “I was listening to the songs in my phone when the music suddenly stopped. I thought my phone’s battery juice ran out. It turned out someone stole my phone from my bag! Bad experience!”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
CL, 45, taga QC, business woman. “Naku, pag may meeting ako sa Makati dapat lunch time, nag-MRT na lang ako kasi traffic sa EDSA. Mas mabilis pa at di ako pagod magdrive. Pagbaba naman ng mga station may mga taxi na.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
JF, 45, teacher taga Quezon City. “Every Friday may sched ako sa Makati, 1-3pm. Wala naman ako naexperience na hindi OK pagsakay ng MRT kasi patay na oras yun, pwede ka pa nga pumili kung saan mo gusto umupo. Pag-uwi bandang 3:30pm, di pa rin puno although kung minsan nakatayo na ako at usually sa Cubao station, nakakaupo na ako.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  7. Pasensiya. Patience is a must kapag sumasakay sa MRT.

Mandarin Oranges

My children love Mandarin Oranges though I prefer the tartness of another variety of these citrus fruits.

Below is a photo of large-sized Mandarin oranges plus a small-sized one that the locals call “kiyat-kiyat or kiat-kiat”.

Concert Scene

We missed two concerts this week that we would have loved to watch.

The James Morrison concert last Tuesday was one. Well, mostly, that would be me who wanted to watch it. I am sure I’d love listening to this guy live, whether he is just playing his acoustic guitar or if there are super mixers used for his songs.

Here is James Morrison:

Last night’s Wilson Phillips concert was also one concert we shouldn’t have missed. So to pass the night, the hubby and I just listened to their songs in YouTube. Even the kids liked their singing style.

Here is a video of Wilson Phillips “Hold On”

Enjoy their singing!

Burberry Theme Party

Party in style with a Burberry theme party:

Burberry-themed party

Concentrating on the details is one way to have that authentic feel in whatever party theme one has her sights on.

Be prepared though to pay for these detailed things or if one is artistic, patient, has a lot of spare time and crafty enough, everything can be handmade.

Blogging at the Mall

After hubby’s business with the hardware store (see post below), I am stationed at the mall to wait for the kids to arrive.

Sigh… I am not fond of this waiting game, I’d rather stay home than be out. Imagine, I have to buy food so I can plug and recharge my mobile phone now running on dim lcd, lol.

Gap Store

There is gonna be a sale on the 31st at this mall so I better check what they have to offer because we are on the look out for something like this that I saw in CoatRacks.com

Time to check out some new shirts too 🙂

Lunch Crowd Buzz

I am by my lonesome waiting for the hubby as he gets some hardware stuff for a workplace he is helping with: cctv cameras, new computers, long hdmi cables, and furniture to go along with these.

The lunch crowd’s buzz above the music makes me crave for the home’s quiet pace. I wonder how people with their netbooks and tablets open can work with the noise.

I’m guessing they are just tweeting or checking Facebook. Lol.
