The Lovely Bones

I was looking for movies being shown the other day when I saw a title which intrigued me: “The Lovely Bones”

I looked for a synopsis and a trailer and I watched this in YouTube: The Lovely Bones

“My name is Salmon, like the fish. First name, Susie. i was fourteen years old when I was murdered on December 16th, 1973. I wasn’t gone. I was alive in my own perfect world. But in my heart, I knew it wasn’t perfect. My murderer still haunted me. My father had the pieces but he couldn’t make them fit. I waited for justice but justice did not come.”

Now I gotta read the book!

This is probably my kind of reading material which I would read than nose-bleeding on www.wholesaleinsurance.net with all its financial terminologies

The book I’m sure is a tearjerker since the movie moved to me to tears several times. Yes, I watched it last night with my hubby.

Mojos and zesty garlic dip from Shakey’s.

An absolute favorite of the kids. I admit I like it too (with ketchup and chili sauce) if not for the “deep fried” part. Anything deep-fried is a no-no to me

This is a wonderful side dish as long as the slices are well done and crispy and not soggy.

It can also be made in big batches, perfect for a birthday party or gathering family members friends to make baby boy or baby girl announcements.

Financial Uncertainty

Yesterday when I was watching a CNN Video of John King as he toured 50 states and had interaction with a lot of people, he said something that hit home hard: “Economic anxiety is not a theory, it is a way of life for a whole lot of people.”

Yes, I agree and living in a country where a lot of people are living below poverty line, economic anxiety seems to be something one lives with or one that can’t live without.

Someone I know has been dropping hints to me about life insurance quotes when I know this is the last person I know who will venture into something like this.

If we can’t adapt, then we may never learn how to deal with these anxiety and uncertain future.
