Hardware Store Loot

I have always been “proud” of the fact that I’d rather go to a hardware store than go to a clothes store. Maybe I was born to be a carpenter, I just don’t know about it nor have my skills been acquired to be one 😀

In one of my trips to a hardware store, I got these:

I had hopes to attach these slide under one of the shelves in the home library so I can attach a tray to be pulled and pushed when needed. Sadly, I wasn’t able to put these together, *inserts groan sound here…*

Those online hardware stores that sells 10 inch drawer slides like the linked site are sites I like to look at because when I finally have time to go to a real store, I know what I need to get.

Summer Reading

I have been doing a lot of reading these days with ebooks that I have downloaded and bought.

My summer reading picks are eclectic which range from Young Adults genre to dark and deep plots as well as light love and romance readings. I’ve been liking my picks and the series of small town romancws have gotten me hooked. Some of these are Fool’s Gold, Friday Harbor, Lucky Harbor, Animal Magnetism among others.

I also came across the term promise rings for her which, if I am a young woman and unmarried, I would have liked to have one, 😀

My eyebags have eyebags on it but I don’t mind. I even opened an account in Good Reads to keep track of the books I read online.

My current read: Chill Factor by Sandra Brown. I just finished her The Witness book.

Keep Track of Books You Read

I used to have this list of the books I own listed in my PDA. When the PDA became another one of those electronic junk, I stopped listing the books I’ve read. I wanted to rewrite my list but was too lazy to do so especially since I have moved my (hundreds of) books from the home library to the storage room.

Currently hooked on reading ebooks, i list down the books I have finished reading in my tablet’s notes. I also created an account in Goodreads.com to keep track of the list online. I know, too many things to remember to sign up but good thing there is a mobile app so I don’t need to sign in and log out everytime I need to use the site.

Currently reading: The Witness by Sandra Brown.
