Do you give importance to your online profile pictures?

Putting an online profile picture in your favorite social networking site is a must for your friends to “see” you.

Some put photos of themselves which during their teen years and so their friends during that time are able to recognize them pronto.

Some put their best current picture (of course, NOT the one with adult acne, lol).

Some put their blogs or website’s logo which is a good way to promote site traffic.

Online profile pictures are important because these represent who you are.

There are those who wish to remain a “shadow” or mysterious and don’t upload their photos. Their choice of course.

I am sure a lot of brand-conscious and brand-name dropping people will say “woot” at the mention of Vera Wang dresses.

No offense meant if you are one, if you can afford these dresses, why not? Woot for you 🙂

What irks me most is when when people name-drop brand-names of things that they use like their cheese or maybe what? soy sauce? (like it is gonna make their food more flavorful than those cooked using cheaper and local brands) even if NO ONE is asking. Duh?!

I’m sure you’ve met one or two with this trait. Why some will even go to great lengths to say HOW MUCH they bought such and such.

If  in case you are undecided to choose what cake you want for dessert, the Chocolate Kiss Cafe Triple Treat cake sampler is the best choice. I wish other restaurants will offer similar samplers.

Just the perfect end to a wonderful summer al fresco meal beside a pond filled with pond lights.

Running (in marathons) has taken up a new level. The craze is like badminton several years ago.

Running is perhaps one of the least expensive sports there is, for a beginner . All you got to do is get a good pair of shoes plus clothes that will not feel heavy and make you sweat buckets, you are good to go.

Investing on a good pair of athletic shoes like mbt shoes or running-specific shoes is a good move.

One can get those wrist watches for time, heart rate monitor, running GPS/camera/camelbacks, music players, sunglasses, at a later stage. This is just my opinion though.

You can run a few blocks in your neighborhood early in the morning or early evening, or even during weekends, no need to pay for any membership fees. Be careful with stray dogs though 😀

You can read a lot of websites, talk to people who are into the sport and even join running clinics.

There is a website that lists the schedule of marathons one can join. It is no surprise that two-three or even more are happening every week.

Why, there is even a website that lists the songs in the play lists of runner.

Talks to self: “So, wake up early, gear up and go!” 🙂

I love looking at old homes so this particular house piqued my interest. Hubby thought it was a museum. My oldest daughter thought it was an office.

“It is not an old house”, was the answer I got when I asked about it. The owners just had this made looking as such.
