I still feel proud whenever I remember my son’s role in their drama club’s major play: The Cat Painter.
They performed three times and each performance was way better than the previous one. I think it helped that they had good lighting during the last performance, with big speakers, chandler limited, different lights as well as more adults in the audience 
He is the lead role in the play and though I rehearsed with him for his lines at night, he is the one who memorized all his lines without help from me. It was not a surprise then to learn that he also memorized almost the whole script. Well, not everything but majority of the play lines.
I am not sure if he will still join the Drama Club next year but I hope he does
