“If I could fall
Into the sky
Do you think time
Would pass me by
‘Cause you know I’d walk
A thousand miles
If I could
Just see you
Tonight..”
Those are some lines from Vanessa Carlton’s song entitled “A Thousand Miles”. I dig Vanessa Carlton’s voice along with her piano playing skills. Her voice for me, is haunting and soft and lyrical.
Too bad I will miss her 7pm show at TriNoma today, May 9, 2008. There is another show on the 11th but I would not be able to make it then, Mother’s Day and all. Speaking of which, there are different Mom’s Day Out celebrations at TriNoma with Jaya (I am not sure why she was chosen for this event)

Mornings signal the start of a new day. Mornings give us hope and anothe chance to get a better shot at what we have to do, what we like to do and what we enjoy doing. This morning is one morning more special than any other morning because Christians all over the world remember the the resurrection of Jesus in Easter Sunday. That is the essence of His sacrifice, by showing us that He lives and reigns. He lived to fulfill the promise of Salvation.

March signals the start of summer in the Philippines. Although we have had a lot of cold mornings, these are slowly being replaced by warm breezes, if there is even a breeze at all.
Cool mornings are slowly becoming not-so-cold where we live. I would miss these, waking up still very dark and feeling chilly and sleep-deprived.
Now, mornings are warmer, especially this Palm Sunday. The sun is slowly showing itself from behind thick, gray clouds that enveloped the sky all throughout the day for the past two-three months. I dread summer days when the heat becomes unbearable. But still, we are thankful for the chance to have a lot of these:
cold fresh fruits. Melons. Watermelons. Mangoes. Star apples. Plus a whole lot more of refreshing fruits.
Isn’t God so wise He thought of making these succulent fruits in season when the weather is hot?
Hope everyone will find time to reflect about the goodness of God this Holy Week.
