Now you can add your Philippine bank account to your PayPal account, so you can withdraw your money directly to your bank. It saves you time and gives you faster access to your PayPal funds!
Plus, there is no charge to withdrawal amounts over PHP 7000*. So go ahead and add your bank account today! |
That is the message I got from PayPal yesterday though I have read this in my PayPal account last Sunday. I am sure everybody from the Philippines got this message too. Hooray!
There is PhP250.00 return charge if incorrect information is given. Still, this is good news. So call you local banks now and get it’s code and make that transfer from your PayPal account directly to your local bank. There is a list of bank codes from the major banks in the Philippines from ebay.ph. If in doubt, call your local bank and ask them to be sure.

thanks for making sure that I read your post on Pay Pal. I was able to post my bank account already when they gave the link at their site. I don’t know about EON though I often come across it. Now that you mentioned you’re sticking to coz of more control, I’ll browse on it.
Thanks ha. 🙂
No problem, Lynn. Did you register a credit card? With EON, there is a $5 fee per transaction which is still some amount, which can be put to other use aside from a transaction fee. The risk of having to put my local bank account registered is that i can probably use the money since I use this account for paying bills. I don’t think I still need to get another bank account just for that since I already have an EON. This development has caused quite a stir in the Philippine blogosphere, especially to those earn from paid posts, including our other blog. Thanks, Lynn 🙂
this is both good and bad news for me. good because of its convenience, and bad because I had just opened an Eon Cyberaccount at Union bank (which hasn’t been activated after three weeks!) for paypal purposes. hmmp, wrong timing again.
I am keeping my EON, who knows I might be able to use it to pay for online purchases. It also is a good rein on expenses and for emergency purposes.
