This is a macro photo of an ant using my point and shoot camera. The Photoshop procedures done were cropping and resizing the image to make the cropped photo bigger to be able to see the details.
Great shot. I’m still working on improving my macro shots. Some are great and some are just blah and disappointing. I have an in-between Fuji, more than point and shoot but not a full DSLR either. Still more camera than I can handle at this time (I’m just not a very good photographer). I’ll just have to keep working at it I guess. My WW today was taken with my old point and shoot.
Have a great week and please join me here for my WW post if you can:
One of the surest signs that spring and summer are coming but one I do not look forward to … really prefer it if they remain outside where they belong:)
As they say, its not always the camera, its the eye and the steady hand 🙂 And yes at times, we are just fortunate enough to take a good shot. Thanks 🙂
Marsha, my p&s has manual settings. I don’t usually use the auto setting and I just use the cross between manual and auto. Works best with steady hands though. Good thing I don’t do ironing anymore so hand shaking is minimal 😀

That’s one pretty cool macro shot 😛
Each time I try on an ant, it moves faster than me taking off the lens cap of the camera! LOL~
Interesting perspective!
Beautiful job with a point and shoot. Sometimes we get lucky! Nice job on the cropping too; doesn’t Photoshop rock?
My WW photo is up here if you’d like to check it out:
