I Miss the Cold Weather

These past few days have been scorching and to think that it s still February and summer “officially” starts around March.
I miss the cold weather, never mind if I get allergies and some of the students sneeze on me (ugh).
The “cold” weather we experienced for a few weeks during the past two or three months has been intense at times for us who are used to hot and humid weather.
If only our water pressure is not a problem (illegal connections here and there), we would have considered getting an electric tankless water heater then. How wonderful it must be to use warm water for bathing 😀
But now the warm weather is back and we can only say “Ang init-init!” (Translation: It’s scorching hot!”)

It is indeed!I never realized I am enjoying a “luxury” that I take for granted and wrongly assumed that everybody else is beneficiary to. Shame on me!
Next time I take a shower, I will not turn on the “hot” water faucet – that will teach me not to bellyache about every little thing that I think is the norm.
Most of us tend to just go head on with bathing ice-cold water or boil a big potful using a stove top or use a water heater that is dipped in the pail (I don’t want to risk getting electrocuted with this, hehe). A hot shower would be divine but alas, the water distribution system is so bulok we don’t even have water coming out of the faucets inside the house because the pressure is not enough. Illegal connections is one to blame for this, I guess.
I dread to think how it will be during summer 🙁
