This is a government land that used to be full of trees. Then they built the metro rail transit and that is the depot. Before that, however, they had to evacuate thousands of families squatting on the land. The area where we were is a mall. Yup, a mall on a government land.
Nearby is a government hospital for veterans with fairways. Heard someone, a big moneyed company, is going to demolish the fairways and build high rise condos. On government land. Methinks this country is really for sale. Seriously.

Weng, someone told me that the QC government hospitals are gonna be removed or torned down to give way to some posh residential places. There is also a rumor about this same group wanting to buy a well-known subdivision along the northern part of EDSA in QC for the same reasons they wanted to tear down these hospitals.
