Herbal Soaps

We opted to use soaps from the (DOH) Department of Health‘s Philippine Institute of Traditional and Alternative Health Care (PITAHC) that have natural ingredients in it.

With a teenage daughter, we have to be careful what we use for acne remedy because facial skin is sensitive.

herbal soaps

At first, using the soaps on my face gave me a bit of discomfort because my skin felt itchy. I asked my SIL about it because she was the one who gave me the soaps. She said I have to read the ingredients and sure enough, ingredients just listed the fruit or vegetable extract and vegetable oil. None of those 20+ lettered hard-to-pronounce words. So, yey! Must be those extracts doing what they are supposed to do on the skin.

So far I’ve used papaya, cucumber and carrot soaps for skin moisturizing. I forgot to take photos of these.

My daughter is using calamansi soap for whitening (rolls eyes) while we still have bayabas [guava] (skin protection against bacteria), akapulko (skin defense against fungus) and labanos [radish] (skin whitening and astringent).

We are almost out of soap so we need to order more soon.

    hi,

Read your post and i also have the same condition of your daughter. I was just wondering if you know how to get products at PITAHC??

I support natural meds and I don’t know how to get to PITAHC.

Hello, my father works in the DOH department. He was also the plant manager before pioneering the research of the Lagundi Tablets before they were introduced in the market. We currently have stocks of those soaps at hand. We made soaps like that before, as in manually. I did all the mixing, storing, drying and packaging and we tried to sell them. But my father was so busy that the business stopped. He ordered boxes of those soaps but seems like less people want to use them because they wanted those commercialized stuff.
If you want, you can order from me. Email me at heartycindy20@yahoo.com.

Hi Inah, I got these soaps from my sister-in-law who works at PITAHC I will try to ask her how you can possibly buy these. I hope you don’t mind, I edited your mobile number so that it is not published.
