Most Expensive AdWords

  • Insurance
  • Loans
  • Mortgage
  • Attorney
  • Credit

These five words are among the top 20 most expensive adwords.

How does one know when it is the right time to click here and click there? It depends on how these clickable links are placed in a post/article.

Some links are “accidentally” clicked because they are positioned in places where it is easy to do so. Some links just pop up and catch you by surprise.

Back to the most expensive adwords: I think these are the top expensive adwords due to so a few reasons: bad economy, overused credit cards, mortgage and loans that are not paid in proper time and too much excess that seem absurd at times considering the fragile economy.

Real-Life Networking

Networking does not just mean having a Twitter account or a Facebook page. Networking is a face to face interaction among people.

Being a special education teacher, networking is important with me, not to get new clients but to learn from other people. I don’t think have to print out business flyers to advertise the services I offer because I have an online presence.  Having business cards ready to give to people interested in getting to know me is a big factor.

Networking is not just about these social media sites. Whatever is written in social media sites can be edited. Real-life dealings, though delivered in guarded behavior and measured steps most of the time, can give tell-tale signs on what kind of a person one is.

Networking is about people who will talk positively (and negatively too) about the way others conduct themselves and how they are as people who can be trusted.

No matter how one sugarcoats his/her social media accounts if offline or real-life behavior doesn’t add up, then people would see the real and not the reel person for what he/she truly is.

Say it with Flowers

Say it with flowers!

Prom nights, graduation rites and graduation balls are great times to order flowers. Roses are one of the more popular choices for these exciting events. I’ve been scouring the web for some online flower shop links and landed on several pages and spent time to View ProFlowers LinkedIn profile among other sites.

We just finished looking at prom photos and I can’t help but be sentimental about our prom more than half a lifetime ago. Next year will be my elder daughter’s turn to have her prom. Yikes!

Netbook Out, Tablet In

Wasn’t it just last early last year when I wrote I wanted to have a netbook? And now, less than a year later, netbooks’ sales are down because tablets and android phones have overtaken them in terms of style and sales.

Hmmm… having a tablet is sure nice but this can’t be a good tool for a blogger like me. I saw a blogger’s tablet and took notice of little “marks’ on one side where the keyboard should be 🙁

Yeah, some people I know have tablets. Then they purchase the keyboard. Isn’t it much more difficult to hold than using a netbook?

As for me, I need to check on Atrix or the best android mobile phone for me so I can Andronify myself, haha!

VW “The Force” Video

This 60 second Volkswagen Passat video featuring a pint-size Darth Vader is so cute!!!

Leave it to the dad who looks like a Maritime Lawyer to indulge his son’s fantasies.

Don’t we just love these cute video ads? Hubby said the VW Passat is a good car: big and spacious and has a reliable engine.  He should know, his family has a more than three decade old VW Beetle.

New Old

Hubby bought a slight-used (according to him) laptop yesterday after scouring laptop deals in the web for several days. He got a Dell Latitude e6400. He said the price he got it for was good enough and less than what is being offered in the other sites he saw.

This is just timely since the pc has conked out and is running on Ubuntu. The children say they miss their Win-based games and are begging me to have these installed in my laptop. Uh-oh.

Wait, does it mean I can now “inherit ” his netbook? Hmmm…
