Rodic’s Tapsilog

We love Rodic’s tapsilog. Tapsilog for the uninitiated and those in the know, means TAPa or marinated beef strips, SInangag (fried rice) and itLOG (egg)

The tapsilog in Rodic’s is great, for one, because one does not need to chew the beef strips throughly for these have been flaked.

UP students and even those who have not studied there but had a taste of this food (would) like this unique food offering.

Last time we had this? Last Sunday 🙂

Escargots, Anyone?

I love eating these creepy (for me) crawling creatures. I just don’t want to see these live though.

There is a waiting hand ready to grab some pieces but of course, this hand had to wait first.

Chico Fruit

This is a chico fruit grown in my parents backyard. The bats love this fruit. It is called sapodilla or Manilkara zapota. I love to eat this after chilling in the fridge for a few hours. Tastes like brown sugar. Yummy for me though not for everyone’s taste.

Peanut Brittle

Peanut brittle is made of peanuts with caramelized sugar. Very sweet, very tasty. Have a glass of beverage handy when eating this to avoid having sore throat.
