Haiku Salad and Oyako Rolls

Haiku Salad and Oyako Rolls

Haiku was one of the restaurans in TriNoma that we went to when we had the Bloggers Spot.ph Food Tour last year.

The salad consisted of things that I can’t identify but it tasted good. I can identify the greens, the Nori strips, the crab sticks strips but not the yellow things on top. Goes to show my knowledge of Japanese food is limited to a few food offerings.

The vinaigrette for the salad was good too.

Anyway, the oyako rolls tasted different because the nori was crunchy. I do not know how they did that but it was kinda unique, with a different but wonderful twist. I like it.

It used to be that expensive restaurants were some of the only ones offering these kind of food a few years ago. I am glad that there are restaurants that offer these that are not priced beyond the means of their patrons.
