Who doesn’t like chips and dip? I don’t know about you but I know I do:
And all I need is a big glass of ice-cold Coke and a book π

My youngest daughter loves warm buttered bread. I would like to say I do too even if I know I should be eating foods that burn fat or food that do not store unwanted and unwelcome fat π
Don’t we just love warm buttered bread with a serving of creamy soup? Or perhaps with a serving of pasta with your favorite sauce? Or maybe with your favorite beverage whatever it might be?
One of my favorites when I was young: Prima buttered toast. Do you still remember this? Meron pa ba nito? π

Don’t be “fooled”, this is not a big pizza but a Buddy Pan Pizza, meant to share for two from Pizza Hut Meals for Two.
This order worth PhP198.00 had:
Budget meal for those preparing their resumes and looking for jobs, students and those who want value for their money.
I’d go for this meal anytime but would prefer to have the meal with Coke than iced tea π

Barbecue Chicken Fillet with Java Rice from The Chocolate Kiss Cafe in UP Diliman.
Pan-grilled chicken breast fillet marinated in barbecue sauce served with Java Rice. P190.00 Β |Β Or served with garlic mashed potatoes. P210.00
I love this because I love barbecue flavor and we always use chicken fillet meat at home. I think this partners well with Coke π
Perfect for a lunch date with friends.

Halo-halo, shaved ice with sweetened and cooked fruit toppings, topped with leche flan and/or ice cream, made even sweeter with sugar and milk. This is a Chowking Halo-halo.
This is what my youngest daughter and I shared before going home when she went with me to work.
I didn’t even think about the nuphedragen review I read π
I do not even want to think how much sugar there is in there, we just enjoyed the treat and the tongue freeze that this Chowking Halo-halo gave π

Homemade Tiramisu (or something like it) which I already featured here in my 2010 Project 365.
I did this homemade tiramisu before getting wedding party gifts for a friend. When we got home, it was the perfect sweet thing to have after a long and tiring day.
Ingredients:
Dip the broas briefly in the coffee. Lay all the broas together. Put a layer of the cream on top of it. Continue layering depending on your broas.
Sprinkle with cocoa powder when you are done.
Chill for a few hours before serving.
Put chocolate syrup if you so desire. The children asked for some since I did not put a lot of condensed milk and the cream is not too sweet.
