The husband has a two-wheeled ride aka motorcycle, which makes me pray harder and more fervently whenever he uses it to go to work.

The children on the other hand prefer four wheels as their ride than this two-wheeled ride. As for four wheels, I mean the family car or van or MIL’s car which we borrow at least once or twice a month. The son is a Formula 1 fan though I think he loves to “watch” the data and statistics more than he loves watching the race. The youngest child has several toy car collectibles.

Me? I love just going on road trips.

The eldest made known her desire to have an ATV when she was younger and this prompted us to look for the specs (and the price) online in sites like PowerSports. We do not have immediate plans to get one. Yet.

December is the time when registered but no plates rides abound. Car, van, AUV, SUV and even motorcycle dealers sure do have a great time during this month. After-market accessories like motorcycle lifts are also doing brisk sale.

What it will do with traffic is another thing though.

I rarely go through the metro’s main thoroughfare, EDSA. But the Friday before the week before Christmas, we observed how fast we traveled from our place to our destination. I think the ABC bus stops were effective at that time. I am not sure though how the traffic was around a few days before Christmas.

My husband is a big Formula 1 fan. Now, our son is a bigger fan than his father 😀

If they miss the live race, they will watch for replays. The son keeps tabs on the scores, not just for the current season but with other seasons as well. He is after all, a statistician even when he was way younger.

2012 Formula 1 season is a very exciting season and with only three points ahead of Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel wins his third Formula 1 Grand Prix championship.

This sleep deprived mom was up till 2am on a school night to keep an eye on the boy who was also up and bent on not missing the final race of the season which he has religiously followed from the beginning. Sigh…

I just hope he gets some sleep in the school bus.

Traffic is always horrible in this side of the planet. This is probably because the shoppers are out in full force. It could be that driver and pedestrians have little or no discipline on the road.

I wonder if these accidents record make it hard for these drivers to get a 5th wheel insurance.

A stalled vehicle on the road means a lot of people in vehicles following will get in trouble for getting in late.

I can’t accept that traffic is already a way of life in the urban centers in this country.

I miss “our” big road where only a handful of us are on the road at any given time. Now we have ginormous trucks weaving in and out of the lanes and most of these are just passing through from the expressway.
