Red and Green Bell Peppers
Red and green are the colors of Christmas. Maybe this is the reason why these bell peppers are priced sky high during the season. I’m stumped really why this is so.
I love green bell peppers, just the smell alone makes me feel wonderful, I don’t know why. That and onions together. Weird huh? Maybe because I love these on my pizza.
On the other hand, it would be nice to have area rugs with these colors to make the house more Christmas-y and festive which reminds me that I still have to change the throw pillows and use the Christmas designs 🙂

Around Chicago yellow and red bell peppers are always priced the highest. Green peppers can usually be found for about half the price.
Hi Matt!
Yellow bell peppers are expensive here in the Philippines too because these are not commonly available in the supermarkets that I go to
If these are available, the prices are a bit expensive too
Thanks for the visit and I wish you a Merry Christmas 🙂
I love bell peppers especially if they’re crunchy! Ako rin, I always prefer to have bell peppers on my pizza!
My Food Friday entry is served here. Happy weekends!

The yellow would be cheapest…color-coordinated ang post mo ha. HAppy weekend!
I never noticed if the price of these bell peppers are higher during Christmas time here. Maybe they are, everything else is more expensive come Christmas time anyway.
hmmm.. interesting! so bell peppers sky rocket at this time of the year there, eh? i guess every commodity increases in price during xmas… because the demand is high and the supply is low.
my ff entry is now up too! here’s the link: http://seasons.pinoyvibes.net/2008/12/12/a-german-fare/

G, its baliktad here, the yellow is a bit rare and is more expensive 🙂
Yes, everything is more expensive during this time (maybe except in Divisoria, where bargain goods are a-plenty).
For veggies, its them bell peppers and onions.
Kikamz, onions too tend to be expensive at this time of the year.
