Freshly Baked Bread

From the restaurant where I took photos of the freshly baked pizza I featured and where you can choose the toppings you like for the pizza you make yourself, here is a photo of freshly baked bread. Bow 🙂

Its Not Just a Car, Its a Ferrari

Exotic. Fast. Expensive. Rare. Collectibles.

These are just some of the words that best describe cars that are made in a limited number and can be rarely seen on the streets. One such car is the Ferrari, among others.

Moneyed people buy these mean machines. Racing enthusiasts do too as well as those who have the eye, the taste and the deep pockets for the prancing horse.

One would worry though where Ferrari parts can be bought especially to those living far from where the cars are being manufactured. All these are taken cared of, I guess, when one buys a model.

Gadgets

One of the most saleable items with this generation of young people (and older folks too) are things that has to do with electronics

Music players, DVD players, electronic gaming gadgets, computers, laptops, GPS, PDAs and TVs are just a few of these things that are needed to be plugged in or need batteries that promise to make life easier and more fun,

What electronics gadgets do you have in your bag?

Outdoor Games

Recently, there is a tvc being played that encourages children to play outdoors.

Why? Because children have been too lazy to move and play these kinds of games because they have been too engrossed with electronic games like PS3. Not bad but then again, for me, there is more to playing with real socialization skills, creativity, laughter, accusations of unfair play and good old fun than e-games.

I for one, am a guilty parent for not encouraging my younger children to do this especially when our only son has asthma and would have difficulty breathing if perspiration will dry on his back.

In another post I wrote, I featured my children and their cousins playing a game of hopscotch outdoors, on the street. There were so many positive feedbacks with the post and I am happy that I wrote about it. I just hope schools would initiate these games in their physical education subjects so that the children would enjoy these while they are young.

Baking Goodies at Home

I have re-discovered the joys of baking simple goodies when the Christmas season came. My children loved the goodies I have been making. They also try to help by mixing the ingredients and checking what has been put into the mixing bowl. As I have written in another post, I cold probably have this as an alternate source of income as home-based business opportunity once I have improved by baking “skills”.

I know my children love what I bake but there is a downside to this trend.

I have gained weight.

Having warm and freshly made bread and muffins every other day is a treat and yes, I have the tendency to get one or two slices more than I should.

Instead of asking for other delectable recipes I might even ask for any weight loss pill suggestions 😀
