Bitter Gourd

Bitter gourd or ampalaya hanging on our fence. Who would have thought I who has a black thumb would have these at home?

Caring for Chichi

Summer days mean fleas and ticks for the pets and our Chichi is no exception to this

It was a summer too when one of our pets died because of infestation

Now we are more careful, bathing the dog ever so often and keeping his area clean

Natural ways to keep these from “invading” the pet are also done by us like putting fresh garlic in the food

I hope that fleas and ticks will not go near our pet and if this will happen, Frontline will surely be a big help πŸ™‚

2009 Earth Hour

Yes, we joined the millions of households and commercial establishments,communities, and cities who observed March 28, 2009 8:30-9:30 pm Earth Hour.

Here is my post of our 2009 Earth Hour experience πŸ™‚

I must say this should be done more frequently because of the many benefits I saw it brought and one of which was my kids went to bed early πŸ˜€
