On Mobile Phones

Mobile phones are not what they used to be. If a decade ago, we only need these mobile phones to send sms and make calls (and yeah, play Snake mobile game) these days, mobile phones like the motorola mc55 show how much technology has changed and shrunk in terms of size.

This used to be high-tech back in the day. It is definitely obsolete these days but hey, I still use the phone and still even play mobile golf, lol.

I think mobile phones did something to the brain’s capability to memorize because people nowadays have a hard time recalling phone numbers or birthdays not listed in their mobile phones whereas before, it was easier to memorize phone numbers. Or in my case, I used to be good with this, until the 11-digit numbers came to be.

Business Terms

Reading up on different terminologies about the financial world is like entering a world where people are speaking in a language I don’t understand. Let me just be clear that it is just me who may be having this feeling. If you feel that too, it makes the two of us then.

Words like cost recovery system, fidelity bonds, accounting rate of return and trade credit sounds a bit alien to me. I want to understand what these terms are and how I may be able to use these in the future. So when my SIL and their cousins talk like accountants do, I have to find something else to focus on.

I am glad I was not tasked to attend the yearly investors/stockholders meeting for my MIL who is currently not in town. Otherwise I might just concentrate on what time the meeting will end 😀

Evanescence Concert

My eldest daughter loves Evanescence and it was a given that she has to watch their concert when they came to town. And watch she did her first ever major concert and it was Evanescence! with just the hubby waiting for her outside the concert venue:

Evanescence in Manila

This daughter of mine can play the piano well even without formal training.

My other daughter loves playing the guitar and in fact she has her mini-guitar as a gift last Christmas. I am sure when this girl is older and can play well, she will ask for guitar accessories like a Jackson or a note-stand like their cousin who now plays an electric guitar 🙂

Science Laboratory

This is a High School classroom at the Faith Academy. I have more photos of the classroom and the different Science laboratory equipments but these are in my mobile device. There are beakers and other laboratory glassware, laboratory balance, burners, clean sinks and other lab equipments.

Faith Academy Chem and Physics room

I even want to copy the racks they have using shelves, rivet beams and plastic trays. I hope i don’t forget to attach the photos here.

It is important that Science labs have complete (or even the most important things needed) equipments which not just help students learn but will ensure their safety in the room.
