Cheese Dynamite

Cheese dynamite, a chili pepper with cheese inside, coated with crunchy crumbs. As I have said, it IS the bomb.

Cheese Dynamite

I grabbed the photo from my other blog where I featured Cafe 5845 which will serve varied dishes with cheese daily till the end of August. The food being served are from the same people that gave us 5,845 cheese dishes that got a Guinness Record last December 2009.

Cafe 5845 is located at the North Wing of SM Mall of Asia. It has a lovely garden ambiance but has modern kitchen and lcd monitors for your viewing pleasure.

It is a must-visit indeed.

To the curious: hindi maanghang.

5,845 Dishes Cooked with Kraft Eden Cheese

foodfriday

Last month, I blogged about Kraft Eden cheese and the goal to cook 5,000 dishes to top India for the Guinness world record for the most number of dishes cooked.

5,845 Dishes Cooked with Kraft Eden cheese

And they did! 5,845 dishes cooked with cheese, woohoo! So we show the world that we Filipinos are cheesy, huh?

Cheese tart (I think)

Check the Kraft Eden YUMM Sarap ng Buhay site for some cooking ideas and if you want to contribute a recipe. Mine is the cheesy turon 🙂

Now I am off to read about NC health insurance as a favor for a friend 😉

Oh by the way, do we have FF next Friday?

Green Salad To Go

foodfriday

(home prepared) vegetable salad to go

As I have written here and here, I don’t usually buy/order vegetable salad prepared somewhere else because it is easy and inexpensive to prepare these things from home.

This has Romaine lettuce, cheese cubes and tuna with light mayonnaise.

Greens

Vegetable salads are expensive when bought from a restaurant so I make my own. I do not even need fancy full of fat dressing, I can eat a bowl of it as it is, without any frills.

In this bowl, the cheese cubes give the salad a salty taste.
