Taco Pizza

foodfriday

Have you tried Taco Pizza? The Taco Pizza in the pic below is a part of four flavored pizza from Burgoo.

Taco Pizza

Not exactly my favorite restaurant nor do I frequent the place,ย  itย  just happened that I have several food photos from this place.

We love tacos. I remember making tacos before but I did not use tacos shells. I used tortilla chips instead.

Hmmm… I better look for a recipe again so we can have this on weekend.

Recipe-hunting would be more fun than reading about humidifier filters even ifย  the need for the latter is greater ๐Ÿ˜‰

Roses and Kisses Cake from Red Ribbon

A different idea: for those wanting to propose their love to their loved one can give this cake as a gift and a carrier of something else. Wouldn’t it be nice to see loose diamonds on a ring on top of the cake? ๐Ÿ˜€ Woot!

KFC Supreme Bowl Chinese Imperial

KFC Supreme Bowl Chinese Imperial

KFC Supreme Bowl Chinese Imperial

Hot rice, crunchy fried chicken with spicy-sweet sauce and eggplants on the side plus a glass of ice cold Coke, this for me is a good way to have a (hurried) lunch that feels a bit like home-cooking.

5,845 Dishes Cooked with Kraft Eden Cheese

foodfriday

Last month, I blogged about Kraft Eden cheese and the goal to cook 5,000 dishes to top India for the Guinness world record for the most number of dishes cooked.

5,845 Dishes Cooked with Kraft Eden cheese

And they did! 5,845 dishes cooked with cheese, woohoo! So we show the world that we Filipinos are cheesy, huh?

Cheese tart (I think)

Check the Kraft Eden YUMM Sarap ng Buhay site for some cooking ideas and if you want to contribute a recipe. Mine is the cheesy turon ๐Ÿ™‚

Now I am off to read about NC health insurance as a favor for a friend ๐Ÿ˜‰

Oh by the way, do we have FF next Friday?

Tuna Steak

foodfriday

Tuna steak marinated in soy sauce, ground pepper, lemon juice, dried rosemary and oyster sauce, served with fried egg over steaming rice.

Tuna Steak

Perfect for a late night breakfast dinner.

A combo of these things with a variation with the tuna steak is something I prepare for hubby whenever he gets home late from work.

I am not fond nights when he gets home late because I fear for his safety. Plus I have to think of ways to get rid of dark circles under my eyes the next day ๐Ÿ˜€

Baked Mac and Pan-Fried Steak

foodfriday

We had a simple Thanksgiving dinner today.

Baked Macaroni and Steak

Baked macaroni and pan-fried steak with mushroom gravy.

The baked mac (and any other pasta) and steak are both common sights on our kitchen table but these are rarely found together in our meals. Together, these two make a wonderful meal.

I also made the mushroom gravy from scratch and yes, it passed the standards of the kids. Yipee!

Yes, that is something to be thankful for, being able to prepare meals that my children enjoy.

Happy Friday! ๐Ÿ™‚
