Greenwich Macaroni Salad

We stay and wait for my husband to come from the office for about 2 hours in SM Megamall every Monday and Wednesday. By we I mean my two younger children and I.

it is dinner time when we go there. We bring milk drinks with us as their drink as they have their dinner. We usually just stay in the mall’s basement food court near the parking area we chose to avail of.

The children usually choose Greenwich for food. We used to order those meals with fried chicken, pizza, macaroni salad and drinks. Lately we have been ordering their rice meals like Chicken a la King or Adobo or we go for another kind of food from a different food store.

Anyway, the Greenwich Macaroni Salad is often LEFT UNEATEN. The kids do not like this and neither do I.

Why they have to put fresh tomato and sliced lettuce bits in the macaroni salad, puzzles me so just because. Somebody clue me on this, please 😀 This part of the meal goes to waste so we do not buy these anymore.

The children love macaroni salad, they do, but this one is not a favorite.

    nakuha yata nila yang idea nayan sa mga parokyano ng salad station ng wendy’s

    diba dati yung wendy’s may salad bar, wherein yung costumers will get a “one-time-big-time” na salad sa bar. kaya yung mga parokyano isang bundok na salad ang ginagawa tapos halo-halo na yun, may greens, fruits, gulaman, etc.

    as for me, di ako nasusulitan sa greenwich

    Hrmmm I make macaroni salad with mayo, pineapple, cheese and lots more…what dressing do they have for theirs? (I see grated cheese though)

    am not so sure if i’ve tried their macaroni salad … it has been ages since i’ve eaten anything there. but that shot looks yummy! hmmm … fresh tomatoes in macaroni salad seems interesting … lol. 😀

    ps. regarding my noodle shot, there were no special background or anything. the key “ingredient” there was the natural afternoon light. the background just turned black because of the light. 🙂

    The Italian pasta salad usually have veggies in it, so that should explain why the tomatoes and lettuce were there 😉 (I’m just guessing that it probably was Italian). I love most salad and macaroni is one of my favorites. Happy FF!

    Yup, the pasta is ok as well as the chicken. My kids just have the cheese pizza.

    I love Wendy’s Salad bar. There are people who make the salads na asar, kasi they make mountains of salads but they don’t eat everything. Sayang…

    My kids like the Wendy’s side salad 🙂

    Same things you got in your salad I also use, G. I don’t know why they do not like it but they like Wendy’s naman 🙂
