Home Baked Chocolate Chip Cookies

Nothing beats home cooking, but of course, sometimes that depends on who is in charge of the kitchen, haha!

Chocolate chip cookies, a sure way to warm the heart 🙂 I know these do not look good but the batch was gon e after a few minutes of cooling.

Lechon

I already have an entry but I had to make another one in  honor of the celebration of Independence Day.

Binabati ko kayo ngayong Araw ng Kalayaan, lalo na ang mga nagsasabing “No to ConAss” 🙂

Lechon, very Pinoy. Source of a lot of heart problems to people who do not moderate eating said food preparation.

Warning: read Betastax reviews before indulging 😀

I heard a doctor say on the radio that a teaspoon of freshly squeezed calamansi after eating lechon helps. With what? Not really sure. Anyone knows why? I say eating lechon requires a big glass of Coke.

Mussels in Lemongrass Broth

I love mussels. Baked, in a seafood pasta and cooked with clear broth, I would definitely like to have these.

I still remember how these mussels were cooked: onions, ginger, garlic, salt and pepper. Sprite was added then instead of water.

Now,  I would not want to serve that because its not healthy. I use lemongrass for the broth.
