Before You Dig In This Christmas

With Christmas just a few days away, it is not surprising that so many people are already planning on their weight loss program after the season. Funny that they think fat burners while they eat sumptuous meals during parties held here and there.

Oh well, if it helps them feel better and guilt-free after all those rich and creamy food ingested, so be it.

Maybe I need to think about it too 😀

Christmas Season Has Started

We officially kick-started Christmas season by celebrating our own Thanksgiving dinner.

Yesterday was the first Sunday of the Advent season and we had the tree up. Decoration is not done yet though we are I am halfway there.

Someone has been reading up on alli reviews in preparation for the Christmas celebrations lined up. I told her, maybe there is no real need to do that. How? she asks. I say “Take everything else in moderation”.

That is what I have been telling myself too. Heh.

The BER Months are Coming

A few weeks to go and it would be the “ber” months! This means Christmas is near! Yipee!

Though of course this season means a lot of traffic, a lot of expenses and parties! I am sure holiday invitations are being readied right now.

Maybe it it time for me to learn to bake new goodies to be given away for Christmas, just like what I did last year.

I am excited already 🙂

Gift-giving

What kinds of gifts did you give to your loved ones?

What kinds of gifts did you receive from them?

Gift-giving is a Christmas tradition that will always be there, no matter how people are, in terms of their economic standing because there are a lot of those who have lost their source of income and who are grappling to see the end of these challenges.

One of the most sought-after gifts for the last few years are tech gadgets and gizmos.

There are also those who go the old-fashion way of giving baked goodies like what we did to some of our relatives.

There are those who feel obligated to give expensive gifts especially to their children because these children seem to charm their way into having  their parents part with their hard-earned money.

There are those who got the surprise of their lives as they got engagement rings and would start planning the big day after the holidays.

What about those who got new cars or even new homes? Wow, definitely wow.

But have we thought about those who don’t get any gifts given out of love? They did have some but these were given out of pity. How did they celebrate their Christmas?
