Greenwich Overload Pizza

Greenwich Overloadeded Pizza.

Tastes good though it feels weird buying that kind of pizza and paying more OR buying this kind of pizza and paying less than its competition. And I am talking about just for a slice.

On the other hand, I am used to paying less with their food offerings but less the taste and toppings 😀

I’m rambling. Ok,  its yummy but lacks that certain smell from other pizza offerings from other stores.

So You Want to Have a Motorcycle?

I have blogged about motorcycles in different circumstances:

  • This post had a photo about a family riding in one small motorcycle that spell disaster if ever a mistake is made.
  • What about the Ducati motorcycle of Yellow Cab Pizza post?
  • Some of the Batangas Racing Circuit photos that I posted? Yes, there were some superbikes there.

Motorcycles are here to stay, that s for sure. Nothing wrong there except some of the things that the riders do that get them in trouble. They ride fast. They don’t wear their helmets on their head but rather wear these on their arms/elbows (duh?). They ride with 2 other riders. They drive even if they are intoxicated, which is the leading cause of accidents in the country. They ride without safety gears.

So it is any surprise that in Asia, in the Philippines, motorcycle accidents happen day in and day out?

I Love Full Moon Nights

There is something about the moon that mesmerizes me, and a whole lot of people. I do not consult a moon calendar to know when the full moon will occur.

Last Thursday night I was fortunate to be able to see the moon in its full moon stage.

I do not know why but I think that the skies during the cold months from November – February seem to be the best time to look at the moon and the stars.

I think I got this idea because when I was younger, I used to spend a few days (and nights) camping with young people from church usually from December 26th up to December 30th. We stayed near the beach where there were no lights coming from nearby houses because these were far away.

The sky was teeming with stars and the moonbeams reflect on the sea waters. Perfect.

Thus begun my affiliation with the moon, not that it affected me and my moods like what stories have foretold long ago.

Below is my November 13, 2008 full moon photo:

There is a move, by the way, about Dark Skies Awareness because 2009 is the International Year of Astronomy.

Obesity, Who Do We Blame?

The cases of people, even children, with obesity is rising steadily.

So who do we turn an accusing finger at?

The fast food for offering hard-to-resist deep-fried and high in calorie food offerings?

The candy and chocolate manufacturers for making their sweet offerings very much appreciated by those with sweet tooth?

The bakeshops, donuts stores, dessert and pastry chefs who continually experiment with so many yummy concoctions that are hard to resist?

No not them really, they are not entirely to blame for this obesity problem.

Have we looked at how we live our lives?
