Cheese Dynamite

Cheese dynamite, a chili pepper with cheese inside, coated with crunchy crumbs. As I have said, it IS the bomb.

Cheese Dynamite

I grabbed the photo from my other blog where I featured Cafe 5845 which will serve varied dishes with cheese daily till the end of August. The food being served are from the same people that gave us 5,845 cheese dishes that got a Guinness Record last December 2009.

Cafe 5845 is located at the North Wing of SM Mall of Asia. It has a lovely garden ambiance but has modern kitchen and lcd monitors for your viewing pleasure.

It is a must-visit indeed.

To the curious: hindi maanghang.

Vegetable Salad

Lettuce, onions, cucumber, tomatoes and grapes. Yumm-o.

vegetable salad

I love vegetable salads and this one was unique because it was prepared by a friend and shared by friends too.

My youngest child eats this kind of food because I prepare this at home too. My little boy is not fond of vegetable salad though and seems like he has built-in radar detectors and hides every time I call him to taste the vegetable salads I have prepared 😀

Facial Skin Care

Having a teenager in the household includes the quest for the best acne treatments. Hormonal changes bring about these breakouts, among others like behavioral change and mood swings.

Thankfully my daughter is fairly easy to live with save for some episodes of guttural responses or none at all.

She has also taken to using a certain soap for her facial care and would not hear of using another product or brand. Natural skin care concoctions are also a welcome addition and we have tried several mixes already.

I hope other teens out there are open to the suggestion of using natural skin care mixes.

A Day in the Life of…

My husband and I love watching movies but  juggling a busy part-time work schedule and being a full-time mom while my husband works two part-time work (which roughly translates to two full-time work schedules at times), we rarely have time to watch movies these days.

With three kids in tow, movies are a luxury for us. I am pleased that the children would settle with watching DVD movies at home where they can see the film again and again and again. Yeah, repeat again several more times and you get the picture.

When I don’t have to go to my part-time work and I just stay at home, I watch movies online (sometimes I even try to do ab workouts insert rolls eyes here) or blog or read a book or watch TV series being shown half the world away. Yep, I am up to date with some of the TV series I like.

Household chores? Say that again?

When the kids are back from school, then I get very busy from 6pm till my eyes drop from exhaustion.

Countryside View

It gives me joy to be able to go home and visit my parents.

heavy clouds

Aside from the fact that I would be able to spend a few hours with my parents, traveling on country road is a relaxing experience for me, seeing so much greenery without billboards and steel buildings blocking the view.

We would probably do a lot of traveling as a family if only we have the time, resources and a house-sitter who can be trusted to be left behind. For now, we don’t have plenty of all three things.
